Natural Disasters coming to City: Skylines
The Natural Disasters expansion pack provides a range of disasters for mayors to deal with, such as implementing early warning systems and emergency routes, dealing with severe and damaging impacts, and supporting the community as they attempt to recover. Additionally, the expansion offers a new gameplay mode and scenario editor, enabling players to win or lose the game as per their preference.

Survive a range of potential catastrophic events that threaten to disrupt your city, from towering infernos to unexpected explosions. The Natural Disasters expansion pack includes a variety of disasters, including earthquakes, thunderstorms, tsunamis, forest fires, tornadoes, sinkholes, and meteors. Players must prepare and react to disasters using early warning systems, countermeasures, and new response options like helicopters and evacuations. With this expansion, Paradox delivers a game where players must take heed when they receive alerts like “Comet Sighted.” Additionally, the expansion pack adds a new scenario editor and gameplay mode to Cities: Skylines, allowing players to determine the outcome of the game on their own terms.
Scenario Mode
The Natural Disasters expansion comes with Scenario Mode, which offers five ready-made scenarios to test disaster management skills. These scenarios have unique objectives, time limits, and conditions for winning or losing the game. In addition, the expansion introduces new accessories for Chirper and a broadcast network that helps in quickly spreading evacuation warnings and emergency alerts.
